NovaRad understands that the key factors in judging a CR system are budget, throughput, and reliability. That's why NovaRad offers the Kodak CR500, the Konica Xpress and the AGFA ACD Compact CR. Each of these CRs are completely integrated with NovaPACS with a DICOM modality work list for a seamless and efficient operation. The Kodak CR500 is a desktop CR for small hospitals and clinics. The Konica Xpress is a dual-plate reader for medium-sized hospitals and the AGFA ADC is a multi-plate reader when heavy throughput is required. All CR's are available for purchase or lease.
Kodak CR 500
 For the budget-conscious smaller hospital, the Kodak CR 500 offers reliability and fast processing to handle those peak times. With a smaller footprint, it easily fits in where you need it. Robust, premium CR quality and high performance for moderate exam volumes, it processes over 60 cassettes (35 x 43 cm) an hour - compact size without compromise. This system features high image quality, sophisticated image processing, and an intuitive user interface equivalent to that of premium KODAK DIRECTVIEW CR systems. A DICOM work list is also available so patient data can be auto entered into the CR from the RIS.

Konica Xpress CR
 The best value for medium and large sized hospitals, the Xpress CR delivers unsurpassed performance in workflow, image quality and configurability. The Xpress CR is the world's fastest, with a 24-second preview time and 40-second cycle time. Multiple bay choices allow you to customize the system to fit your specific throughput, redundancy and budget requirements, and the NovaPACS connection delivers the images directly into PACS. A DICOM work list is also available so patient data can be auto entered into the CR from the RIS.
